The issue currently at hand is the renewal of surveillance warrants on Carter Page that actually occurred when Obama was out of office, iirc. Some FBI lawyer didn't follow all the protocols, apparently. That's it. That's all there is. The GOP would like to conflate that with a lot of other things but I doubt Rosenstein will play into it.

It's amazing how one senate republican committe investigated and reported that Russia did indeed influence the 2016 election, specifically to the benefit of Donald Trump, and this senate republican committe is still trying to work out the kinks of how the whole Mueller probe came about in the first place.

He's trying to say he signed off on a completely legitimate investigation ( I agree) then he sits back and claims he was relying on other people, and blah, blah, ect.
