This sounds just like my eight year old son who asks how long until something occurs, waits for the time to change and then says "Nuh-uh, it's (quoted time minus 1 minute) minutes away!"
 
Meadows & Jordan ran it partway up the flagpole thru their sources to see how many would salute. Few did so they ran it back down quietly, moved quickly to a related line of attack.

Only pointing out the falseness of the OP. It didn't say it "might" happen or they are looking into it. It says that it is going to start "moday". I'm pretty sure he meant Monday.

Meadows & Jordan planted the story that they'd do it on Monday. Just goes to show us all that they're just bullshit artists.
 
And I'm only pointing out that a statement can be true when it is made and become false later as circumstances change.

I'm also not-so-subtly insinuating that predicating "See, I'm right!" statements on these changing circumstances is something that a child might do.

A statement is only true or false. The one in the OP was false.

I asked if it started yet as I haven't seen any news today and happened to be reading the forum...

My intention was not to say "see I'm right". Your assumptions are baseless.
 
Not that this was going to happen, but now any attempt will open a door you could shove an aircraft carrier through regarding Trump and Putin. I've been checking the Realclearpolitics polls on Trump and the unfavorability is now up and Russia hasn't had a chance to be factored in yet.

This will not play well for the non-Fathful.

The whole reason to speak out and protest something is to avoid that specific thing from happening. I can only imagine they got backlash big enough to cancel their probe. Yo pcgeek11, we thank you for your service.............

Standard right wing spin. What really happened is that GOP *staffers*, not Congressmen, threatened Rosenstein with contempt of Congress. That was arrogant & stupid.

"The Deputy Attorney General was making the point -- after being threatened with contempt -- that as an American citizen charged with the offense of contempt of Congress, he would have the right to defend himself, including requesting production of relevant emails and text messages and calling them as witnesses to demonstrate that their allegations are false," the official added. I don't think Rosenstein is going anywhere, in the foreseeable future. Trump could fire him, as he could with other appointees, but this would clearly look like obstruction. With Rosenstein's involvement in the Russia probe, and since Sessions has recused himself, it's unlikely Sessions could fire him either. So, if the firing is to take place, it would have to be through a congressional impeachment process. That's not gonna happen either. This is my understanding of the situation and I could be wrong. I'll reiterate...Rosenstein isn't going anywhere.
