Just wanted to say after 2 years, I finally decided to root this thing. I felt like it was getting slower and slower.

I rooted it, removed the Verizon bloatware and it's not slow anymore. I'm starting to wonder if they purposely eat processor with their useless apps that run in the background so you'll upgrade more frequently.

The "old phone slowdown" was also in large part a lack of TRIM before 4.3.
