roommate troubles....

my roommate is the biggest jerk i've ever met. It goes like this: He got a dog a couple weeks ago. The dog was behaving well in the first couple days....but then she started to pee and crap on the carpet. I've told him to get her in the kitchen by putting her on a leash or get some gate things that blocks her in the kitchen, but he won't do it. So he then hid the leash and blocked the balcony door close so that I can't keep her in the kitchen or put her out on the balcony when he's not here. So I found a rope and used that as a leash, but he cuts that when he got back in the apartment. I've thought about going to the managment, but is there anything I can do before reaching that point?

Tell him that you will go to the management if he doesn't do something... it's as easy as that... rili...

How can you not like dogs?.....Train the dog to pee in the right spots....don't leash her in the house..thats cruel....take her for a walk once in awhile outside so it doesn't get so frustrated and pee on the carpet.

Start warming up the fava beans right when he walks in the door. Also having a cookbook that says "101 Ways to Cook Dog" might drive the point home.

BTW I really like dogs and would never advocate the above except in jest.

it's not my responsiblity....I told him this would happen, but he said he'll handle it....so far he hasn't. Also he's gone most of the night for the past two weeks...sometimes he even forgets to feed the dog.....

a ha... a third roomate enters the picture...

well, if you're REALLY sheisty, you could always make the dog poop on the third roomates bed and thus create conflict between those two. The dog goes, and you come out looking neutral.

don't really do this though.

I'm just pyscho... sorry.

I am Chinese....but I don't do those kind of stuff....

Do Chinese otherwise do that? My phillipino friend told me he does that. He said he tried some in the Phillipines but found out only later it was dog. Its common he said. I asked him, "did you continue to eat it after you found out what it really was?"

He said, "Uh... yeah..."

LOL!

i am from Taiwan, I guess I should've said Taiwanese......heh....I just remembered that E! did a Wild On on Taiwan last week I think, it was pretty cool. Anyways...he just left and he tie the dog in the kitchen with the leash....

Vietnamese people eat dogs... fools! thats what mexicans told me in elementry...

Print out a FAQ on Crate Training.

Key: You can't leave the dog alone for 8-10hrs at a time! If you can't be around to give the dog attention and let the dog out every few hours (when it's young) you shouldn't have a dog. (YOU= Roomate, or anyone who wants a dog).

Why does this roommmate of yours have a dog anyways if he doesn't have the time to take care of it?

Call the landlord, and give the dog away. Or just leash it in his room and let it sh|t all over his bed/carpet/clothing etc.
