roommate thinks he accidentally formatted his HD....HELP

Okay, my roommate was going through the win2k setup, and noticed that there was ALOT of free space on his 80 gig (D🙂. He doesn't know if he formatted or fdisked or what exactly because win2k is still installing.........is there anything that can be done???
 
Looks like he formatted. Best thing to do is somehow get to dos at least and use a system recovery software like Powerquest Lost & Found.
