You'll Need:

1 - Can of spam (empty)

1 - hair-dryer

2 - medium grade sandpaper squares

Take the hairdryer and sandpaper, and stuff it in the can of spam. Then, when he isnt home, you fuck his sister.

My roommate keeps changing my desktop to vulgar images and changing my homepage to meatspin. It's more of an annoyance than something that actually bothers me, but I feel obligated to do something in retaliation. I have fairly regular access to his room/stuff while he's not here (and obviously he has access to mine as well).

Ideas?

And this whole time, it never occurred to you to lock your computer with a password?

Slit is throat while he's asleep. Make sure to go ear to ear.

Only because it's easier than a password.

I am a fan of shutdown.exe batch in the startup folder. Or as a scheduled event. Use the switches to put in some comment on the screen or zero the timer so he has no chance to stop it.

oh man, I used to have this program I would install into my, friends or foes computer, I had a batch file that would add it to the start items, and change it to the IE Icon. THen Get there IP address and hope they have the same IP the next day.

Then I would use my remote to access this program on there computer.

From there I could, make any website pop up, open calculator 50 times, open the CD drive ( very amusing on laptops), send messages " Your computer had an error, there is nothing you can do about it"

endless fun oh man.

I did something similar to my father....opened up not pad and typed out "I OWN YOU". He quickly turned off his PC, then called me shortly thereafter.

Are you in a dorm or an apartment? If apartment, wait until he gets wasted one night and saran wrap his toilet so he pisses all over the floor.

Better way? Just put a password on your computer and get a lock for your door.

Get a basic chem lab glass set. The anarchist's cookbook. About 20 bags of fertilizer. 50 cases of wooden matches and about 20-30 1 foot double threaded pipe and metal end caps. Put about a dozen dirty diapers at the doorway.

Put up a poster of Osama Bin Laden on a couple walls. Call the local ATF office from a payphone and report "It may be nothing, but I was delivering a pizza to ..... and noticed a strange smell as I came up to the door. When the guy opened it a crack he said it was his babies and they are sick, but he looked like he's only 16...he had a bunch of osama bin laden posters up though and pipes everywhere..."

You probably won't see him again.

Just for the people who tell me to lock my computer, I'll reiterate that I don't really care. I know he won't do anything that actually messes up my comp or whatever. I'm just looking for a casual ish prank to return for sport/kicks..

Sounds like you do care since you're going through a lot more trouble to prank him back. It's not like you can't stop his pranks and then prank him as well. The two are not mutually exclusive.
