Roomate problems...

Here's my story. Just moved into a 3 bedroom apartment. My 2 roomates are in my class. The problem is, one of them brings their girlfriend over every nite. She takes a crap in our restroom, watches tv and all of that. But the thing is, nothing happens between them. It is annoying to see this girl every damn day of the week. Yet, she has a place of her own. Am i obligated to say anything or should I just keep my mouth shut and try to deal with this. Been living at this new place for about 2 months, and everyday out of those 2 months, she has been living here and staying here for the night. Any suggestions? What to do?
 
So long as she isn't eating your food and stuff, I wouldn't make a big deal about her staying there.

What I WOULD make a big deal out of is making fun of your roommate who is pussy-whipped by her. Torture him relentlessly and then all your problems will be solved.

Probably going around the house naked (or only boxers) is the best way to go. At least your roomie will be annoyed and he will ask her to go to her place.

Nah - show her ass the door. You pay for personal space too. I wouldn't want some bimbo walking around my apartment all day, every day... especially if I already had other roommates on top it. Your apartment can't be *that* big.

OOh, that's a good angle, especially effective if you're more attractive than your roomate. He might be afraid you'll steal her away.
 
Hi. I got a girl. But I don't bring her home everyday. Or maybe I should? Rent & utilities? You got a point there. Overcrowding a NY apartment. NY apartments are tiny.

So how can I do this in a nice way? What are hints I can drop to my roomate? We are going to be stuck here for 3 years. Anyone got anything constructive to say? And there is nothing to get jealous about. If she was some fine chica, I wouldn't be saying anything at all folks. How have u all dealt with roomates?

She watchin' TV, that's electricity. Does she set the thermostat to suit herself? Does she cook? Who washes her dishes? You say she's got a place? Why aren't they spending time there? You must have better cable. Theres another utility. Either they split the time between places or she pays or gets the fvck out.
Set some ground rules now, if you expect to live together for 3 years.

I would take this route. Make sure to throw in whip noises everytime she comes over and everytime she leaves.
 
There is a difference between living there and coming over every day, although it's close.

I would say that if it's an inconvience to you, like, she's watching your TV when something you wanna watch is on, or she's always taking showers there, leaving dishes in the sink, not cleaning up after herself or any slew of bad habits, then totally call her on them.

Regardless of who she is dating, she is only a guest in the house, while treating a guest with respect is expected, overstepping the boundries of politeness and being a slob warrants being treated like one.

If she's being a pain in the ass, then tell your roommate that maybe they should go over to her place once in a while.



If the only problem is that she's there, then deal with it and hope they break up.
 
Everytime I read a roomate thread on this forum, I thank the lord I'm not so petty and immature. Do you have some sort of social dysfunction??? Just lock yourself in your room and play on your computer if you don't want to see her. Jesus Christ.

Constantly take a dump in the toilet and dont flush, tell your other roomate it was her and she is out of control....
That and walk around naked......
I doubt shell stay long after that. 😀
