That looks pretty cozy. I would pay $420 if it were in Manhattan in a heartbeat.

Shit, at least they get a separate shower space in the bathroom. I don't even get that.

Perfect for WoW.

You can install the desk right in front of the shitter and a minifridge/microwave to the left. Great that the window is already covered to keep sunlight out. Use shower for storage since it won't be needed.

Need a guy to apply and be turned down. Then sue for discrimination under the equal housing act, then you can just own their apartment and a few bucks when you win a huge judgement.

I wonder if that setup is allowed under the building codes for the area.

And I love rules like this:
[no] people sleeping over
Who the hell does this landlord think he is? Someone's parents?

I used to pay $550/mo for a room half that size and I didn't get my own ensuite shitter :(

I would put a limit on that as well. If you don't, pretty soon you have two tenants living there for the price of one.

$400 is the average going rate for a room around here. Thats pretty far outside Toronto too. Real-estate is so cheap in the US.

My one niggle is the lack of a private bathroom. A curtain? Seriously? My friend who lives in Fairfax VA is paying about that for a room. She has a private bathroom and communal kitchen in a basement apartment she shares with one other person.

You can't say 'female' or 'guy' on Craigslist? Or is that just an oh-so-clever way of being quasi-discriminatory?

Wow that looks pretty bad. I have a small place in Montreal but damn that room looks small! I don't think I could do it. My place is about as small as I can tolerate. Bigger, cheaper and it's not just a room, and no stupid rules. Yikes.

Women only eh? Don't think they can do that. Probably some perv old guy as the landlord.
