So first, the right to file a lawsuit is enshrined in the 1a. "... and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.. "
If you want to argue that access to the courts needs to be improved, I'd be all in with you. But if your solution to our shitty access to the courts is to make that even shittier... well, that's not liberalism.
Second, as I already pointed out earlier, the reviewers were not the customers. Their landlord is the customer, with whom they have a dispute regarding deferred maintenance to the roof which they claim damaged their personal property. And, according to the roofing company, the tenants attempted to gain access to their roof report for the landlord by threatening a negative review. Which they did.
Sorry, guys, but this suit is legit. That report was privileged info that the roofing company could not by law give to the tenants.
RTFA. And that includes everyone in this thread who was siding with the roofing company, because you were all wrong too.
