I'm looking for reviews of the Ronco rotisserie/Showtime. I'm not talking about reviews made by people on sites such as Nextag, BizRate, Epinions or PriceGrabber crap garbage websites.
I'm looking for a independent type websites that review this type of item but does not actually sell it! Like a consumer reports type site.

I've already searched the past threads here but none were helpful in this. I want "REAL" reviews!
 
My parents have one and love it. It's lasted for about 6 years and they still use it all the time.
 
Baked---- I am a subscriber to the Consumer Reports mag but not thier online stuff.
jumpr---- I need an Independent review sites, not public. People can be very dumb on sites such as Epinions and the reviews mostly tainted, since anyone can log in and place a review!
 
Which one you plan on getting? There appears to be 4 models from the manual section. The Platinum model features digital timer, but is out of production it seems. The standard model looks like a good deal if you cook a lot of large birds. Think I'm gonna get the compact.
 
I've had one of a couple years, it's not very well made. mine has pieces broken off all over, the teflon like coating peels real easy, it's kinda noisy. it works though. Just don't set it and forget and leave your house, cuz it may burn it down
 
The Achilles heel of the Ronco design is it's structural resonance frequency.
