I wonder why? you should start wondering too... and look into the facts... stop using your old brain and your old heart. really listen, and judge for yourself.

once you're awake there's no going back. and it's only a matter of time before everyone wakes up. the question is, are you an early adopter or the lagger.

They say 2.5% of the population are innovators.
13.5% are early adopters
34% are early Majority
34% are late Majority
15% late mass
1% laggers

This is the law of diffusion of innovation.
http://chrismaloney.files.wordpress...-diffusion-of-innovation-maloneys-16-rule.jpg

we're on the tipping point right now, and when it tips... none of us early adopters will call you names. we'll just say "we're glad you finally made it".

So a Ron Paul Presidency is inevitable, and only "laggers" fail to appreciate that fact? You Ron Paul people are amazing. Really remarkable in your confidence.

Ron Paul will NEVER be President of the United States. He will also never be the Republican nominee, and if he somehow did manage to eke out the nomination, President Obama would demolish him in a general election. His views are well outside the mainstream of the American electorate and particularly his own party. I would expect that after Super Tuesday, if he lasts that long, he will be out of the GOP race and, potentially, running as a third-party candidate. If he does that he will get, at most, 10% of the vote, and President Obama will win in landslide fashion over the GOP nominee (most likely Romney).

Please feel free to mark my words and hold them against me if I'm wrong.

His ideas amount to "freedom/liberty/rights", which everyone agrees with and loves. The problem is he has no plan for how to implement any of them. That's why he'll never be elected, because he never gets anything done, and never has.

German thinker Max Weber said that "politics is the slow boring of hard boards and that anyone who seeks to do it must risk his own soul." You know what that means?

It means that change comes in excruciating increments for those who want it. You're trying to move mountains. It takes lifetimes.

It means you dodged the point I made and instead relied on a quote to, ultimately, say absolutely nothing of substance.

Nothing Paul wants has ever existed, or could exist, because everything he believes is belied by evidence and facts. Things that have actually been tried. This guy isn't leading the intellectual equivalent of the Enlightenment movement, because that was based on verifiable data, science, evidence, et al. He's leading the exact opposite. He's leading those who, for the most part, are much more likely to believe in, say, conspiracy theories than boring old reality.

Whenever you come to terms with this is up to you.

I'm thankful for RP for one thing, He has ideas out of the mainstream and I think it's good those ideas are heard and their merits (good or bad) are discussed.

Some of his ideas may even be implemented some day.
But then again, they may never be and that may work out ok as well.

Big & Real Change is alot harder to actually implement than it is to discuss, there's always huge obstacles to overcome. I don't think it's quite the right moment economically or foreign policy wise for some of Paul's ideas.

Ron Paul supporters who don't know about his racist newsletters must be the ones who are trolling. Those newsletters define Paul.

Simply put a few in this topic only were dealt one card. They cann't make a statement about him without it being debunked. So the players who have only one card played said card . It was the race card . Loosers!. If Paul is a racist so am I. I believe in free choice for all humans as does Paul . If thats racist . I am a racist . BOO!

If Paul is a racist he not scarry at all . Not like people who make laws to protect me from myself . Thats freaken scarry . Someone Smarter than WE THE PEOPLE deciding what we can and cann't do . Try entering my shop with a cell phone. See what happens. Try to buy an expensive PC from me without showing me your last years W-2 forms . If you don't make X amount of money I show ya the door. The law hasn't bothered me at all. I decide who I do business with. The gooberment or the law can't stop the way I do business.

We here in Minnesota are historically more open to third-party candidates than most, and Ventura initially presented well (though he was not a great Governor by any means). Actually my mom moderated one of the early gubernatorial debates and spoke highly of his performance (I was living out of state and didn't see it). That said, the national party machines are so large and so powerful that I find it hard to imagine a third-party candidate being successful in a Presidential bid. I suppose one never knows. In any case, I am absolutely confident that Ron Paul will not be the candidate to break through as a third-party candidate.

Boy is this a strange post. If a retailer asked to see my W-2 before I bought a product, or insisted that I leave my cell phone in the car, I'd laugh in his face, walk out and never return. Nice to see that Dr. Paul has the incoherent, goofball PC builder vote locked up, in any case . . .

see ron paul respects his choice of doing that. ofcourse ron paul also believes that he might not get a lot of business doing that. but that is his choice! as long as he's not harming anybody let him run his business the way he wants to.

trying to police everybody to create a Utopia where everybody is safe actually DOES THE REVERSE! and first of all before you get into everything... to police everybody where is the money gonna come from? yes that's right... they have to tax and take that money from someone else!

oh the wheels go round and round... round and round...

someday you will comprehend all this.

Exactly and thats what FREE CHOICE is all about. On the door you open on way out hangs a sign saying don't let the door hit ya in the ass on your way out . If the housing industry would have followed simple rules like checking to see if you could handle a $250,000 house payment befor giving ya the loan . We would be ahead of the game instead of being behind the 8 ball. No man Owes me anything . I owe no man anything. I am responsiable for myself and myself only . You know why NO man owes me anything . Its impossiable to cheat an honest man. Its like if you come into my shop and celll phone rings . You take the call in MY SHOP. Now your taking MY TIME . I don't sell many PCs anymore . My daughter does . The Nemesis brand thats mine only and at $7,000+ my door isn't getting beat down . I a fair man but if my hands do work for you . I get paid what others THINK their worth. Thats just the way it is . You have the best do work for ya and ya gotta pay.

No, you just have to back up the bullshit you claim with evidence, facts, etc. You know, like normal adults. The onus isn't on me to prove your nonsense.

Ooh it isn't? You can remain ignorant your whole life. Don't expect me to save you.

You learn in school that when you make claims, you have to back them up. Funny thing is, we all know you'd fail to support your position if pressed face-to-face. Which is the true test of someone's cyber bullshit.

What I learned is School did not prepare me for the real world . I was taught values and that Men held these values high . I raised all kinds of hell and always felt a bit guility . Till I got the cure. When I got into the labor markets and had to deal in the real world I found out that all those values are intended to hold you down to bind you. The Adults were wholely corrupt and success was how good you lied cheated or stole without getting caught . 150 years ago Doctors were still bleeding people . George Washington died from such bleedings. You hold higher education up to highly when 85% is based on opinion and not facts.

You're proving my point; logic, reason, scientific analysis and evidence finally prevailed thanks in part to the Enlightenment, and helped stop bloodletting once and for all. Paul supports no such reasoning, he has nothing but ideological dogma to draw upon. He believes in Austrian economics, a science that openly spurns mathematics and measurable data. The two positions, support of science and support of Ron Paul, cannot be reconciled because they are antithetical.
