Fact or opinion?

Did you ask Romney to take the 5th on such?
He's got a history of profiting off of the misery of others. He uses any and every tax loophole he can ( but that's not illegal! ), he's a scum bag, and he belongs to a crazy religious sect that exists as a ruse to have multiple wives in spite of us law. Oh, and his father was also an illegal alien.

Your 5th amendment jabs only mean something to the other balding mid 40's chubs on the board .

More like a president that is not determined to play Robin Hood and believes in what he says.

Transparency
Lobbyists
Clean up Wall Street
Waiting time for public opinion on bills
No increase in taxes on the middle class

You try to factor race into your arguments because the arguments are unable to stand on their own.
Are you going to take the 5th on that?
Deep down race does play a big role. Why do you think you see so many people listing out Obama's full name Barack Hussein Obama? They want people to paint a mental image of a terrorist because that's how racists think.

If I may borrow a louie ck bit... it's like when somebody says ' The N word ' and then you mentally think ****** because that's what they mean.

You can't honestly tell me that a huge chunk of republicans are not anti obama because of his race becaus that's just bullshit. GWB drone strikes a terrorist, you guys high 5 and say america, fuck yeah. Obama carries out a similar drone strike and suddenly all the pro death neo cons are anti death cause it's a black man pulling the trigger.

Why are you not on my ignore list w\ all these moronic comments?

BS the man destroyed the economy . 4 years it took him to do what took bush 8 years to do. He hasn't kept any promises not 1. Obummer care isn't what was promised . It was done in secret he promised openness. He said all would have time to read . Hell the lawmakers didn't even read it befor they signed on. Than he said he would cut the debt in half by 2012 or wouldn't run again . This guy is complete liar . The Perfect Messiah for the demons
I want to make it clear that I'm not pro obama. I voted for him foolishly in 2008 thinking there'd be some change.

That's the problem.. There was no change. There was no change from all of the economy killing bullshit Bush started and handed to Obama.

And here we see people like you as a fine example blaming obama for the economy. Go blame bush for 911 before you want me to take your comments blaming obama for the economy seriously.

Looks like a stunt right before election day (surprise!)

From your article:

That said, the magazine didn't say that Romney broke the law.

From The Nation:

In their 2011 and 2012 Federal Financial Disclosure filing, Ann Romney’s trust lists “more than $1 million” invested with Elliott. This is the description for all of her big investments—the minimal disclosure required by law.
So they complied with the law.

so if he profited from the bailout, wouldn't it have been profiting from the opposite of what he wanted to happen?
Yeah.

The complaining makes no sense.

If a politician campaigns for something, votes for that something and then ends profiting when it passes it is an ethical violation and a conflict of interest. The obvious implication being (s)he supported it for his own good, not the good of the nation.

Now OTOH, he campaigns against it, votes against it and it passes anyway and (s)he manages to make a profit? There's no conflict of interest (except the conflict with his own personal interest).

(Yes, I'm aware Romney didn't actually vote because he held no office.)

And if you read the more detailed accounts the blame for this falls on the govt people (e.g., Rattner) who carried out the bailout. They got out maneurvered by the guys running the hedge fund and consequently blew a bunch of taxpayer money. But then again, what's new?

unions bought and paid for by the Obama campaign are filing complaints about Mitt Romney?

stunned and amazed at this development.

the line is that Mitt Romney opposed the bailouts, wanted the auto companies to go bankrupt, and supported shipping the entire industry to China. so if he profited from the bailout, wouldn't it have been profiting from the opposite of what he wanted to happen?
You mean Mitt would never publicly reject a policy that he supported/gained from if it meant he could pander to a fringe wacko base?

No effing way!

One, the system does not allow you to put a Moderator on ignore.

And how many Democrats are voting for Obama only because he is black.

They do not care what he has done to the economy and that he has no plans to get things rolling along other than standing on the sidelines. The skin color is all that matters.
That is as much racism as what you are pushing.

Apparently there is enough common sense in the party to reject idiots that are on it got the publicity only.

However, those examples drew enough black votes to make some nervous.

It was considered the solid black vote was able to propel Obama over Clinton.

This is much todo about nothing. First of all they did invest in an investment company. If the Investment company invested in the auto bailout, they may not have even known about the specifics. This is like you investing in a mutual fund. You would not be responsible for what the mutual fund happens to invest in. This is really stretching the truth to suit your needs. It is pure baloney. Some of the president's investments invested in China. So what?

If you invest money in a green company and they purchase solar panels from China does that mean you are selling out your own country?
