Rome Total War

So I just installed Rome: Total War. 2 Weird things:

1. During Installation, I was never asked for a CD-Key, despite the fact that it's sitting in front of me right now.

2. Whenever I play the prologue campaign, a few turns after taking my first settlement, the game will kill itself (screen will revert to desktop, game process ended).

This is not pirated material.

Any suggestions?

1) CD-key is needed only for online play. You will be asked to input it if you try to play online.
2) No idea

The original game had some crash problems. Are you using the latest version of the game? Also, you may have gotten a corruption during install. I have seen it happen. Reinstalling should fix it. Reinstall. Grab latest updated patches. Try playing again.

Had to reinstall it twice, but it finally works. Now to slaughter some Greeks... 😀
