I have to call out the authors of that list and ask what they thought the best 10 movies of 2010 were?

Pretty good list. Titans belongs on there just for its treatment of the robot owl...fuck you! My main problem with that movie was just the script was wacky and the lines about the gods were just fruity. I thought the sand bug man was cool though and the babe was hot so it wasn't total shit.

Sex and the City 2 was awful, you were just waiting for them to be stoned to death the whole movie and then it never happens. At least in the series they usually get treated like the soulless trash that they are so there's a sort of instant karma payout.

I watched night and day the other day. Tom Cruise does a great job playing a creepy nutjob (comes naturally) but some how the movie is boring as hell, Cameron Diaz looks downright old in high def.

How could anyone watch that Eat Pray Love movie...the very idea of it annoys me. But I hate Julia Roberts.

The Last Airbender is the worst movie I have ever seen in the theater. And its in the top 5 for worst movies I've ever seen period. The special effects are good but every other aspect of it reaches new never before seen realms of awfulness.

Jonah Hex was the worst PoS I've seen in a long time. And Knight&Day was douchebaggery on tape.

4 and 3 sound like majorly epic disasters.

Clearly SATC and Twilight are on the list because of the hype. They are mediocre, but hardly as bad as stuff like the last airbender. I would add waiting for superman to the list just because of the gross misinformation it spread that has now caused ignorant people to be spewing even more ignorant nonsense.

Only one I have seen from that list is Knight & Day and I didn't hate it. Good date movie.

Lovely Bones should be on that list, worst movie I've seen in a long time, but I guess it was technically released for last year.

^^ Yeah I thought Knight and Day was just fine, aside from the silly name (who cares about film names though really). It wasn't amazing, but it had a fair number of good moments.

Bottom line, no movie could possibly have been worse then the last airbender, its not even possible. It deserves #1 of 2010, #1 of the last decade, and #1 all time for me.

Observe and Report would kick Last Airbender's ass in movie crapulence.

Maybe but I never saw that movie. Airbender was a great story, great animated series and was totally butchered. It was such a good story, I thought that even m. night couldn't possibly fuck it up as bad as people say, I was wrong - it was a lot worse.

Also, IMDB gives observe and report a 6.0 with 25,123 votes. Usually movies 5.5 of better are watchable for some people.

Airbender has 4.5 with 29,151 votes.

In contrast with another thread of "worst" movies ever made RS magazine has compiled their list of 10 worst (most disappointing?) movies of 2010. The list includes:

10 - Clash of the Titans. "Release the Kraken," said Liam Neeson as Zeus. Hollywood suits must have misheard it as "Release the crap." So they did. Here's to a better 2011.

9 - Grown Ups. Arguably the unfunniest comedy in the Adam Sandler canon. Given the existence of Little Nicky, Click and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, that's something.

8 - The Last Airbender. Remember when M. Night Shyamalan made good movies? Does your sixth sense tell you he'll do it again? Mine neither.

7 - Knight and Day. Because James Mangold (Walk the Line) directed this caper flick with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, I had hopes. What an idiot. Even the Kutcher-Heigl Killers was better.

6 - Jonah Hex. Josh Brolin as the disfigured cowboy of the DC Comics revenge tale. Sounds good. Plays terrible in every conceivable way.

5 - The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The third film in the series commits the cardinal sin in a vampire movie: It's bloodless in flesh and spirit.

4 - Sex and the City 2. Four privileged white women whine about being privileged white women.

3 - Eat Pray Love. Two hours of Julia Roberts whining about the awful hardships of the same damn thing.

2 - Burlesque. This misguided musical uniting a waxworks Cher with an acting-challenged Christina Aguilera picked up a Globe nod. Are the Hollywood Foreign Press voters on crack?

and #1 is ...

1 - The Tourist. I laughed like hell when this lame-ass thriller got a Golden Globe nod as Best Movie (Comedy or Musical). All the laughs are unintentional. And Golden Dildo acting nominees Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie hit career lows, producing the chemistry of high-fashion zombies. The worst of the year, by a mile.

I didn't think Clash of the Titans was good but it wasn't the biggest pile of crap in the world either.
Grown-ups, on the other hand, was really really bad.

I saw "Knight and Day" and "Clash of the Titans". I thought both were entertaining and good. Not 9/10 good but 5.5-6/10 good. Killers was pretty terrible but I can't admit it because I convinced my friends to see it.

I never had much respect for Adam Sandlers type of comedy. He pulled off acting like a retard too well.

Damn, I have yet to find a single person who enjoyed The Last Airbender... Now I really want to watch it

Also I didnt think Clash of Titans was bad, it was just your generic fantasy movie, so it was entertaining enough

Oh, come on man. I bet there were no other guys at the theater when he went :).

Actually, I saw it on demand when I was at my Father-In-Law's vacation home in Palm Springs. Watched it with my wife and we laughed our asses off.

Clash was so awful I stopped the Bluray halfway thru and put it right back in the netflix envelope.

On the other hand, The Last Airbender on HD was visually quite good and despite poor acting I actually enjoyed it. Oh, and the babe was hot. Some billionaires daughter?

I would even rather watch This POS then sit through Airbender again. At least it has eye candy, you can't even say that about Airbender's special effects
