People like Stone and Manafort are so innately criminals that they won't be able to stop criminaling for even a few months while they're under intense scrutiny. I give him two months.

We have a culture of fraud and deception. People who would quickly condemn someone for using physical force, deception and threats to steal money will shrug it off if you outsmarted some poor dumb shmuck. The stupid are the natural prey of the clever liar.

"I for-GOT!" [Steve Martin voice]

Martin already has a good Stone impression too...

NEWS FLASH! ROGER STONE IS STILL STUPID!

Leaving out the pending release of a book is probably not a very good idea when you're under a toughened gag order and looking at the possibility of being jailed for violating it.

But then again, this is the moron who thought it would be a good idea to get a conservative tramp stamp depicting his favorite dude.

The interplay between Stone, his lawyers & the court took an interesting turn, didn't it?

Publishing the book makes it more likely that Stone's lawyers will get paid, even if it puts him in jail... especially if it puts him in jail, come to think of it.

Or maybe Stone was crazy enough to not have told his own lawyers about the book...

Pure Speculation.
Stone thinks he’s a tough guy. He thinks Prison will be a cake walk for him.

I bet the opposite, he’ll be full of bluster until he realizes jail sucks, being locked up sucks, have no control over your food or movement or whom/when you get to see people sucks. Then he’ll cave, just like all the bullies do once someone punches them in the face.

Stone has too much to lose & he's too old to be any kind of tough guy. He wouldn't end up in a tough guy prison, anyway. I'm sure he dreads it. He's probably hurting for cash, too. Up to his ass in alligators & he knows it. With Trump covering his ass, kinda-sorta maybe.

Agreed. Like Iron Mike said, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Judging from his statement the last time he was in front of the judge for the target picture, I don't think so:

"I heard political commentators people have been talking about the likelihood that I’ll be raped in prison. It’s been a stressful situation. "

That Tricky Dick tramp stamp of his ought to save his ass... who could get wood looking at Nixon?

Sad to think that Stone will live in a nice comfy cell with a view of the rec yard at Club Fed when he really deserves to be in the Hanoi Hilton or maybe Mueller could book him reservations at one of Kim Jong Un's favorite con camps where life is measured in minutes. Seeing as if Trump is now Kim's BFF, he could visit Stone whenever he feels the need to distract attention away from his own problems with the American home brewed Rule of Law.

The hardest part to believe is that there will be people who will donate to the defense fund of a multi-millionaire.

I'm sure his high end legal team is beating the cash out of him quite mercilessly. Happy lawyers are good lawyers & they're only happy when they're getting paid. A lot.

Or he's just really, really bad at money management like Mannafort.
I can't figure out how that guy went from having 30 million to being broke in less than a decade. How can you fuck money management up that much?
How can someone claim to be a financial whiz who lost that amount of money.

I wonder why his rich "friends" aren't helping him?

Roger Stone May Have Just Broken His Gag Order On Instagram

Is this guy dumber than trump? Judge needs to toss his ass in the can.

This guy has got to be the dumbest motherfucker out there. Is anyone sure that he has an IQ that is a positive number? Is it possible that we have someone with a negative IQ on our hands? The stupid just flows off this man.

Probably more arrogant than dumb. He's trying to sow FUD before the judge comes down with the hammer. He saw he got away with it the first time. He got an inch and now he's going as many miles as he can.

It's really impossible to say who might be & how much they are. It works like this-

https://www.palmbeachdailynews.com/...rt-legal-defense-fund/oyq3NYJwLZZQwcjKq9aLDI/

A guy in Stone's position can't have too much money...

These people, like Trump, are all essentially poor people that pretend to be wealthy or rather--they are indeed the poor person's concept of what wealthy people are like. They spend money like a fool that wins the lottery. ...with Trump it's unusual because he grew up in wealth, with everything handed to him, and so you'd expect of him, at the very least, to understand the simplest concepts of money managment, but he doesn't: it's basically grafting other people for their money, losing it all because you're a fucking idiot, and demanding that the taxpayers foot the bill on lost money that was never yours. That's the Trump business model to a T--until he started becoming a direct funnel for Russian oligarch money via Deutche Bank and comically-inflated real estate sale prices. I'm pretty sure that this is how Manafort got into Trump's circle (sharing the Stone friendship/partnership between the two, for many years, makes perfect sense.)

These guys will deposit a $300k check on Tuesday and then take out a "loan" on Friday to purchase 2 Bugatti Chirons (at nearly $2 mill each) by Friday. Without fail. It is no mystery why these type of assholes are always so "tragically poor."

Judge Jackson is a busy person with a tight schedule & a busy docket. It's a big job & she has a lot to do. Putting up with Roger Stone's bullshit isn't in the job description. Far from it. She already gave him a mulligan. Dunno what she'll do but she's probably coming to the conclusion that this boy jes' don't learn...
