say [sey] verb, said, say·ing, adverb, noun, interjection
?verb (used with object)

2. to express in words; state; declare; word: Say it clearly and simply. It's hard to know how to say this tactfully.

7. to express (a message, viewpoint, etc.), as through a literary or other artistic medium: a writer with something to say.

It's perfectly acceptable to use the verb say to describe certain parts of non-verbal communication. Do you feel that people who use sign language have nothing to say?

Haha. His attitude is pretty awesome. I respect that.

A lot of people with so-called disabilities (ie fat slobs who need to wheel themselves around in scooters at Walmart) could learn from him.

I can just see you running down some old lady in a scooter and smacking her with a rolled up Wally World circular and then doing some sort of idiot victory dance.

Why the hell are you shopping in Walmart, anyway? That place gives me jiggly old fat people in summer clothes nightmares.

Roger Ebert hosts a film festival at my Uni. He seems to be a pretty standup guy. Gave a good talk before the films and was happy to answer questions. A friend of mine talked to him after one of the shows when he saw him eating at the next table at a Steak and Shake. Since his illness though he has not been able to attend the film fest.
