Roger Clemens is a NY Yankee

Not sure how Roger will do against dominant AL lineups and the Yanks certainly need pitching in the worst way. I wonder how much they paid The Rocket for his services. He should be ready in a month..maybe just in time for the second subway series at Yankee Stadium. ooooooo

Well, nobody is sure how he'll do, but I don't think he would come back if he feels he can't get it done. He's is top shape.

oh I don't doubt his conditioning at all. His insane working regime is well known and I'm sure he can still pitch very well but he wasn't exactly going the distance much in his last NL stint (though pitched very well) and some of those AL lineups are loaded as hell. In any case the Yanks desperately need pitching so they did what they had to do. I don't blame 'em one bit as I'm sure they had enough of seeing rookies being brought before their time.

I love how a Clemens coming back story turns into a Yankee flame thread by Red Sox fans. One word: typical.
