1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
GAMING, PHOTO & VIDEO Editing
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
I dont really have a hard limit my philosophy is to spend as much as necessary to get good stuff, but not to buy the stuff that gives you an extra 10% performance but costs 100% more. But I'll spend more than $750 if it makes a decent difference
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
Currently living in Seoul S. Korea, but have an APO address and parents/sliblings in the US who can easily send me stuff
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
Not really but have had better luck with nVidia drivers than ATI, but thats probably not a global phenomenom.
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
As listed below
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes, lots
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Probably a modest overclock. Nothing major
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
1080p on a 24 dell LCD.
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Pretty soon, I definitely want it to be ready by the release of Skyrim. Because I live in Korea, I probably will want to order parts early because it takes a couple (few) weeks to ship here from the US>
10. Don't ask for a build configuration critique or rating if you are thin skinned.
Im not . . .
