Too bad the game isn't on tv. I would love to watch it. Truly an amazing run by the Rockies and I wonder if its a sign of things to come from the franchise.
scary numbers indeed. but he's done well this year against them (14 innings, 2 earned runs, 11 k's, 8 hits, 2 walks, 0 hr) but i think what worries me most is that jake hasn't always been a great big-game pitcher. he takes a lot of emotion with him out there and it can rattle him easily if he gets into a spot of trouble.Originally posted by: chuckywang

Padres fans still confident?

for comparison, fogg's numbers. our second pitcher is the best hitter against him. marcus giles wont start, brian will, barrett wont be the starting catcher as it appears from past history that peavy prefers bard calling the game, ensberg wont start... i just hope greene turns into the rockies killer that he's shown to be in the past. i mean the guy has 35 rbi's and 11 homeruns against them in the past couple of years!
it should be fun, but how come i have to root for a team that takes every single thing down to the wire?!?! the padres have single handily shaved three years off my life with the stress they have given me over the years. it should be a good one though.Originally posted by: chuckywang
Josh Fogg is the very definition of mediocre. A 60-60 career record with almost every season being one or two games above .500. It will be a mediocre pitcher vs. a mediocre offense and a high octane pitcher vs. a high octane offense. Should be fun.

This has been a wild ride this year. The fans and sportswriters have been second guessing the manager and the front office decisions all year. Then, suddenly about the middle of September everyone decided to jump on the bandwagon.
Denver fans have broken the Bronco obsession thanks to the Nuggets and Avs, but this Rockies phenomenon is a sight to behold!
