After crap last week, I'm looking forward to this stuff. All masters. <3 the Clash

This week's DLC for $1.99 per song (160 Microsoft Points)

"Complete Control" by the Clash (master)

"Truth Hits Everybody" by the Police (master)

"Teenage Lobotomy" by the Ramones (master)

These songs can also be bought in a 3-song pack for $5.49 (440 Microsoft points)

I have You Tubed them all, and now judge this week's DLC to be dripping with lame sauce.

The Clash song is not one of their best, we have enough Police songs (this one is not that great either), and the Ramones song is way too short (1min 20+ seconds??) to be paying $1.99 for.

Harmonix is really beginning to annoy me with their DLC choices.

Very disappointing.

Very strange choices indeed. I would understand if they would release non-hit songs from hit artists that were at least good (songs). Instead we get so-so songs and are expected to pay full admission price.
And let me ask you, why Police again? I mean, they were great group and I love Sting and all, but after 3 songs already released + 1 song in the game, why do we get yet another one?
Where the heck is Depeche? Where's Def Leppard, AC/DC, Jethro Tull, etc. etc? I would give half kingdom for Aqualang or Locomotive Breath appearing in the game.

And where are the chick songs? Would it kill the producers to give us couple of really melodic songs from groups with girl singers (Eurythmics, Fleetwood Mac). And please, no more Pretenders. I don't know anyone who likes that post-punk stuff.

It would be hilarious if they put some DT/Tool songs up in that bitch.

If they are gonna keep using the same bands at least give some good tunes from them

Police - Voices inside my head (so I can zone out on the bassline), Dont stand so close to me, Driven to tears, message in a bottle.

Ramones - eh, hate em, skip ramones altogether. Songs are all too short.

Clash - Train in vain, Straight to Hell (long version), tons of others.

Man, there is sooooo much good stuff they can put out there. Hopfully some of it will get there.

I really want Grand Funk Railroad - Closer to Home/I'm your Captain. That would be Bliss.

I'm pretty sure Tool would never license their songs for a game like Rock Band. They're one of the more protective bands about their albums and licensing.

Message in a Bottle is announced for the week of March 11th. The wikipedia page for current and future content is pretty darn reliable since it's such a hot topic and gets accessed/updated/reviewed many times daily: Link

Now thats sweet!

We could use some Tribe songs too. Some of them actually helped develop these guitar games!
