I've been watching the show when they replay it on VH1...the talent is far better than other contest shows, not to mention the song-selection. I like Mig for the most part, but I just wish that he could get some anger/harshness in his voice...after him I like JD. the guy might be an ass, but who better to become a true rock star. Marty's hasn't really stood out for me...I can't say that I really like his style.

I guess we'll all see Tuesday! (I got caught up today between NCAA games :p)

Mig this past week, did a hands down fantastic rendition of "What you Need" He took down the house. It was great. He really got into it, the band knew it too. I have hoped for Mig all along, we'll see.

I'll be happy if either JD or Mig gets in as the new singer of INXS. Good luck to both of 'em.

Jordis was my favourite female but it would seem strange to see INXS with a female singer.

JD sounds like INXS tho, the other guys didn't, they were more rocker and not quite INXS. JD reminds me of the INXS i used to listen to in the late 80's early 90's.

I like Marty though. I like what he's trying to do. I hope he wins.

I knew JD was going to win this. He nailed that Stones cover tonight and for the past few weeks none of the other performers could keep up with him.

I liked Mig, he had a great voice but when he performed he didn't come across as a rock singer. Marty just didn't have the voice.

From a panhandler living in his car to fronting a well known old band, not too shabby at all!

I liked Mig the most, but have felt that JD was the best fit for quite some time now. I thought that Marty wasn't enough of either spectrum, singing or performing and did both things "well"...but wasn't great at anything. Good for JD...he's really been nailing his performances these last few weeks. And now he'll be paid to shake those hips.

Yeah, I thought JD was going to nail it too. I actually thought that from weeks past. But I still liked Mig. When they announced he was the winner, they zoomed in on his face. I think it was one of those moments in life. He started crying, can't blame him. His life will never be the same anymore. Rock on dude.

Now, lets see what happens to the band, and what they turn out.

I haven't watched this show, so I'm interested in knowing if any of the contestants have even a 10th of the talent that the original INXS vocalist had?

You don't even know that "original INXS vocalists" name, yet you seem to perceive him as a god? Though I'm sure you could give us all a full rundown of his "talent" as you see it.

Of course he is viewed as a god because he is dead. Michael Hutchence was a decent vocalist and and very good artistic songwriter, but because he died, he got placed on a pedestal just like Kurt Cobain. LOL

I don't percieve anyone as a god; I just liked INXS (a lot) back in the '80s while he was still alive, and still do. As a general rule, I dislike "reality" shows and could care less about "American Idol", so I was hoping that whoever they select as the new front man is worthy of the position. I'm looking forward to hearing new INXS :)
