Rock Band 4 coming to PS4/XB1 on 10/6/2015

Has anyone had problems with the songs from the big pre order bundle not showing up in game? I downloaded them all and they show as installed but when I go to quickplay I couldn't find some of the songs. It'd be weird if you had to unlock those songs but maybe that is why, I may try uninstalling the songs and reinstalling but it was pretty annoying that they didn't just show up.

Also, there were a lot of songs in the in game DLC menu (which is slow as hell on xbox btw) that didn't show up at all in the xbox store so that's kind of weird.

Anyways I had a good bit of fun going through and playing some new stuff last night, the new guitar feels really nice and the game interface looks quite a bit nicer. I haven't tried tour mode at all, going to wait for friends to come over to play that. The freestyle solo thing was kind of confusing the first time it came up, I'm assuming you have to use the lower fret buttons for it since the higher ones didn't seem to do anything. I ended up turning it off after one songs since I just wanted to play but I'll mess around with it some more and see how I like it.

Both sets of buttons should work for the freestyle solos, it had me use both in the tutorial, and I've used both in songs.
 
Not happy to report, but the drums on XB1 suck bad. The red pad is having troubles registering rolls or rapid notes. Kick pedal is also pretty wonky.
 
Oh that sucks, I have not broken out the drums...I sprang for a new set because the blue pad was kind of broken on my old set but if it sucks anyway maybe it wasn't worth it. I'll try mine tonight to see if I can tell, I'm not the best drummer but I do decently well on it.

I'll have to do some of the tutorials tonight, I just jumped straight into quickplay to try a few songs out.

I don't remember any of the drum sets working properly without some mods. I always bought some foam rubber from a hobby shop and stuck that on the heads which made them a lot more responsive to rolls and such. Sucks they still can't get the hardware right, but it's not all that surprising either :\
 
I'm waiting to see black Friday pricing on this. I couldn't justify dropping that much $ for it when BF is right around the corner. Hopefully I can get a deal on it somewhere

I'm wondering how they'll tell you owned the games, hopefully it's just as simple as having owned the game and playing it on your system. I wonder how they would differentiate from people who just played the game once from a friend or something and someone who actually owned it, but I guess the $15 charge would cover that.
 
Pretty frustrated with the firweare updating process. My laptop can send the update but it never can enter testing mode to complete it. Spent 2 hours and checked online and it appears to be a pretty common problem and lots of hit and miss to make it work.
