ROCHESTER SUCKS! Nothing open late!

Crap...here I am up late studying and I saw the coffee thread and thought "YAY I can drink coffee!" But everything around me is closed! Dunkin Donuts across the street closed at 1am. McDonalds next door closed at 10 or 11 (lame.) Wendy's here down the street is only open until 12:30 (WTF worst hours EVAR!)

EVEN THE FUGGIN GAS STATION IS CLOSED!! Mind you I checked all these places out around 1:30 or so...not too late. I didn't wanna make the trip to WalMart so I came home empty handed.

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF THE FUGGIN HIGH RISE APARTMENT IM IN GOT RID OF VENDING MACHINES THIS WEEK!!! :| :| :| :| :|

No soda, no junk food, NO CAFFEINE!!!

*EDIT* whats even worse, is I'm actually right next to a university campus. You think stuff would be open late!

Welcome to 99.99% of the USA.

You do any kind of driving late at night (couple late classes once), you quickly learn which places stay open late.

[*]Giant Eagle (24/7)
[*]Super K-Mart or Super Wal-Mart (24/7)
[*]Denny's (24/7)
[*]Safeway, Albertsons (till midnight)
[*]TGIFridays (if you could be so lucky - till 3am or so)

Bend, OR sucks for that - if you are out after Midnight, you've got, like, ZILCH for options to get food from.

That's the biggest redeeming feature for cities I can think of.

McDonalds, grocery stores, 7-11, Taco Bell, all open 24 hours around here sucker. I want to go to 7-11 and get a slushy but it's almost 2am

I'm in a small college town, but there's a decent number of places open here...


Taco Cabana
Denny's
McDonald's (two of them like two miles apart)
Walmart (two of them)
HEB (grocery store, if you're not in Texas you've probably never heard of it)
Several random gas stations/convenience stores

God Nevada is horrible.. I don't know how anyone can live there. After driving through it to stop in Vegas, I see why they test nukes out there

I'll give you Vegas.. fun city. But damnit I drove through Nevada in August and it was absolutely horrible, I had no air conditioning and the crosswinds of burning wind were pushing me off the highway. The laws are cool and everything, but they only make such laws because otherwise nobody would live in that sh!thole.
