Robotech Xbox Battlecry OUT and on Sale!!

hi, im new but wanted to let you know battlecry is out!! well at one store anyways. i dont think i can mention it right? but it is a major electronics store *ircuit city. its $49.99 but starting sunday they showed me an ad, and itll be on sale for $36.99. i didnt see any collectors editions there, just the game. i wanted to wait till tomorrow but i couldnt! gotta go play now, bye.
 
go rick hunter! 😛 so is this game any good, haven't read any reviews on it yet. and why do i have a feeling this thread is going to get locked or moved soon.
 
sorry if its not a good post, its a HOT DEAL! well in my mind it is!! i was gonna post it in the software section but it didnt sound as HOT!! the game rocks!!! im still geting the hang of controlling but the graphics are tight~! 🙂
 
If the game is going for 36 bux, that's a hot deal for me! I wanna frag some invid scum! Bump for Robotech.
 
woops sorry i didnt include this bit of info. its the XBOX version. i didnt, but i shouldve checked for ps2 or gamecube. but from the ad he showed me for tomorrows sale it was only xbox version. but ya never know. i didnt check the entire cc ad, just saw it where it showed the xbox version. cya!
 
so its in stores already??? i havent heard too much about this game but figured for the money i might check it out... if someone could confirm that it might be out tomorrow i will head over to CC sometime tomorow.. thanks a lot

might want to go to CC tomorrow to check anyways because i know for sure its in stock at the Daly City, CA store.
i dont know if the ad states that it goes on sale on wednesday. but the guy there said the ad is for tomorrow and it would be on sale tomorrow (sunday). i dont know if they just put their stock out sooner or what but there were a whole row of them there when i got mines. since a few ppl said they called and some CC's didnt have them im guessing that only certain stores got them early or just put them on the shelves early, so it might be wise to call first unless theres a store closeby.
 
So what's the deal with this game? Any good? Reviews? I was hoping it was Warlords Battlecry when I saw the title.

That ad states that it goes on sale wednesday. If your circuit City has that game on the floor today, they're in large amounts of trouble.
 
HOLY SH!T!!! Thanks for the heads up! I'm going out RIGHT NOW and buying this game, I don't care if it is on sale or not! Man, I loved this cartoon!!!
 
Ahh! Makes me want to go out and buy an XBOX just to play this game! They need to port it to the PC!!!
 
On sale is the Xbox and PS2 version for $36.99, did not see a GC version.
Awesome game if you are into mecha stuff...
 
I saw this game at E3 in May . Looks cool but how are the controls for this game?

No mattrer how cool the game looks if the playability isnt there it's a dud!
Look at all the Robotech/Macross based game from Bandai... most of them suck on PS1. They all looke good but the game play was really bad... in fighter mode, the plane felt as if it was "floating" then flying among other imperfections.

Why cant Namco and SCEA come together for a joint project using the Armored Core and Ace Combat engine to create the perfect game..... my 2 cents

I'm looking forward to Battlecry like everyone else... hope the company didnt screw it up using the Robotech name.

I just got back from CC in Torrance and saw a bunch of Xbox titles listed for 34.99. Yes, 34.99, not 36.99. Anyways, they only have xbox versions right now. PS2 will be available on Wednesday, the 25th.
