Robot Fighting Game

I used to play a game that was so much fun with robots fighting on different levels that mainly consisted of open areas whether a City or landscape, not a small fighting arena. You could upgrade your weapons and armor with wins and play different levels. I liked it at the time because there weren't a bunch of games like this out where you could play against the computer instead of having to have a friend. It was a pretty solid game for its time which I remember to be the 90s. I can't find it anywhere. I do recall Dave and Busters used to have a similar arcade game.

One thing I just remembered was I think there was a function where you could jump/jet up in the air easily with one button. Not flying but a jet boost from the feet giving large ability to jump.

Definitely sounds like MechWarrior 2. Possibly Mercenaies. Very fond early PC memories with that series.

One of my favorite fighting games! It's still a blast to play. I only ever played with a keyboard. I should probably give a controller a shot.
