Oscar-winning actor Robin Williams is suing his own impersonator, alleging Michael Clayton tried to defraud people by posing as the real actor.
Mr Clayton and agent Michael Pool allegedly tried to sell bookings for the actor's lookalike without revealing that he was an impersonator.
"He is seeking an injunction to stop them duping innocent and unknowing people," Williams' spokesperson said.
The client then received a phone call from someone purporting to be Williams, impersonating the Scottish accent he used in the 1993 movie Mrs Doubtfire.
