Asphyxiation is not on the list of ways I'd kill myself. CO poisoning or caffeine overdose sound like more pleasant options.

No it won't, many people have a high enough emotional intelligence to realize severe depression isn't just something you close the door on and get over.

He had a great career and many of us will always find his work funny and amazing, right now I'm sure Redbox and Amazon are filling a surge of orders as we speak for his material.

Oh, most will understand that killed he himself because he was depressed -- happy people don't usually do that. But suicide or any non-natural death is one of those things that stick to a person. Just run through the list of non-natural deaths: Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy, Kurt Cobain, Philip Seymour Hoffman, etc. All great talents, all checked out before their time, and it's hard to forget how.

Robin Williams was great and maybe had decades left of entertaining left in him. I'm very annoyed that he chose to check out the way he did.

Great and funny actor. Sad and depressing ending. Something must have triggered this; there is no way this was spur of the moment thing. I still can't believe it. I hope and have to believe he is now at peace.

RIP Robin Williams

RIP

He was a gift to humanity and took that away from us for reasons that are his own: I appriciate what time he gave us.

I generally do not care about celebs. But, knowing that Williams, in particular, suffered from depression that resulted in taking his life is very saddening.

As morbid as it may sound, I really wish his death was anything other than taking his own life.

Rest In Peace.

I completely forgot he was in Jumanji until someone brought it up. I loved that movie as a kid, and it's still pretty good. Mrs. Doubtfire was just on TV this weekend. Aladdin, he made that movie.

Had he done anything good recently? That's a real question too, I'm not that into movies and don't keep up on this stuff. Either way, it sucks. He was good at what he did, and suicide following depression has to be one of the worst ways for any person to die.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Because Wikipedia, a community authored site, is a completely reliable source.
