They do it for our own good. Coal is warming the Earth, if there isn't a legal route to the goal, then the only route is illegal.

It may not be what we want democratically speaking, but it is what we need humanly speaking.

We may not want Obama and all of his tactics, but we need him, the Earth needs him.

Thanks momeNt for at least being honest in your assessment.

I would be thrilled to see your shrine to Obama that you worship in front of. Could you post a picture of it here for us to see?

You don't need to post why businesses are concerned with a Dem Senate (and previously House also) and Dem POTUS in charge, that's already a known...

Chuck

Oh so Republicans in Congress holding a gun to American's head over the debt ceiling "crisis" had nothing to do with uncertainty?

Why would righties need to comment on those when even today the left makes threads about them? You and Phokus should brainstorm on why righties dont need to add onto the pile in this forum. Put your two brain cells together and get back to us.

Zzz, keep tossing shit out Chuck, eventually it will stick. Maybe in 2016... Oddly enough people en mass aren't buying the GOP revisionist version of reality.

Well, I'm not the GOP. Are you now saying businesses in the US are the GOP? Interesting...

Same thing really. We can see that both parties took the problem so seriously they kept on spending to again hit the debt ceiling. Amazing, isn't it?

When he assassinated American citizens with his drones - my shrine was the safety of Americans who now had one less terrorist plotting their destruction.

When he had the EPA chief illegally hinder coal companies - my shrine was the icebergs that are left that he is trying to protect.

When he capitalized on the Sandy Hook massacre - my shrine is the children that will get to live the next time someone is crazy enough to shoot up a school but has had their means removed.

My shrines are all around you, you just don't see them, and you don't see the benevolence of our leader because you are still looking at things in terms of legality as opposed to humanity.

You're an idiot, it's not only dirty, it's illegal. Why do you think Jackson resigned? or did an ignorant little pissant like you even know about it?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ackson-resign-secret-emails-public-month.html

I bet you had no idea about her illegal use of a secret e-mail account to conduct official business. Tell me do you support political administrators breaking the law?

Touchy touchy! Watch that blood pressure. I wouldn't want you to blow a blood vessel. Where would we get the lulz then? I'd ask you to point out where I supported or condoned illegal activity by either party but we all know where that will lead. Now if you'll excuse me I need to finish erecting this straw figure in my yard so I can throw things at it and feel better about myself.

My guess is your anger stems from your dislike when I showed you who you really are. Does this mean you dislike yourself? You could always change that. I hear such change is recommended as prevention of heart attack, stroke, and brain aneurysms. Now there is some change to believe in! Yes we can.

lmfao!!

Just Bush? Have you been reading our emotionally unstable friend's revisionist history books?

Looks like some people think this behavior is concerning whether or not an R or D is the POTUS.

Others think if a D or R is the POTUS then it's time to start a defense using the the typical partisan hack logic.

Pretend the POTUS is a R and see how your first reaction is to this news lands.

The nation and media needs to demand the best from both sides rather than tolerating the worst from the left and right. More than anything the respective party members and especially the legislators should demand nothing less than accountability. The games we see to sheild and defend each side from responsibility is discouraging and is IMO why we so much trash on both sides not taken out.

The partisan pass on policy and ethics happens on both sides, but all of us have a small part to play if we tolerate or cheer it or at worst... excuse it.

Holy hell, he's not the son of God. He's a man, the President, not the Great Leader as you have elevated him to be.

I can't believe how many people are literally conditioned to think a certain way on both the left and right side of politics. Real Americans should be critical of both sides as they both have a hand in our existence and as the government grows does not necessarily have our best interests in mind.

Although I'm more right than left and I really don't agree with what I consider to be socialistic, big government agenda's my biggest beef with Obama is he doesn't lead effectively....he simply does not. He talks about compromise all the time but he is unwilling to take the real middle ground and find a way to lead despite the challenges/differences. Some people are natural leaders...he is not.

When it's all said and done he is going to go down in history as most likely a very ineffective President and will be known for his the lack of ability to promote compromise in Congress.

When did it become OK to lessen or water down the basic rights of Americans as written in the Constitution? He does not have the right to kill Americans with drones; where does this authority stop?

The Constitution is the basis of law in this country. If we all acted on our humanity and not law we'd be an anarchy. My shrine and those lucky enough to be citizens of this great country is the Constitution of the United States.

Yeah, if only he was a real dictator then he could really lead!

What's leading by the way? Giving the side the country voted against everything they want? Presidents don't make laws, they sign them and he's already said he is willing to do that.

What I can't believe is how some people don't understand how our government works.

He just sits there and signs bills....that's it. OK  He does indeed sign bills; some which are excellent examples of further attacks on various amendments that our wonderful Congress brewed up...some with his lobby. I'd say he's doing just a bit more by over stepping his authority by proposing the murder of US citizens without those people being afforded Due Process protection.

One of the traditional roles of the President amongst many is to mediate comprimise and lead; he is currently doing neither.

Are you part of his glee club? Are you telling me he is leading? You define it for me as I've already defined it earlier. Understand I'm not a fan of his because of his party, I'm not a fan because he can't see past his party and his agenda long enough to lead as I've stated before. If you haven't noticed our government isn't working very well.

I didn't call him a dictator, I consider him an ineffective leader and President. What I can't believe is how some people are willing to condone blatant violations of Constitutional rights.
