Robert Gibbs: I was told ‘not even to acknowledge the drone program’

This clip put forward the notion that Obama is moving to more openness on the drone problem so naturally the brain dead here will focus only, then, on how closed the administration has been previously. One must never tell an idiot that you intend to improve because all he will do is point to how imperfect you were in the past. I think the brain dead have enough problems to worry about of their own that they shouldn't worry about Obama. I mean, surely you want to get past the 'stupid fuck phase' before you criticize. But in case not, I thought I'd show you what you look like.

Yes we are brain dead pointing out how full of shit out president has been on his proclamation that his admin will be the most transparent in history. Learn from history and realize the future doesnt bode well for him improving in this category.

You recall that this story broke due to a leak, correct? http://www.politico.com/blogs/under...mo-justifying-drone-strikes-leaks-156106.html

Your post is akain to saying that Republicans decided on their own to embrace minorities. The election results had nothing to do with it.

Obama is only moving forward with more openness because putting the genie back in the bottle isn't an option.

I suspect if his administration was the most transparent one in history it would be criticized for aiding the terrorists by leaking too much information... by the same people now criticizing it for not being as transparent as promised.

You'd be wrong. You probably haven't even heard about the head of the EPA and her illegal use of fake e-mail accounts to conduct official business while attempting to shield it from FOIA inquiries. You probably haven't heard how common this is in the Obama administration and how they're still stonewalling the investigations.

It's a dirty administration and a willing mainstream press that barely covers it.

I suppose we'll never know how you would react to a transparent Obama administration, but given how politically opposed to anything and everything Obama you and your ilk are, my suspicions are nothing but verified.

I never thought Obama's administration would be at all transparent, so I'm not shocked that it is not... and since he's a politician I never expected him to fulfill a campaign promise. My disgust is aimed at those who whine about a failed campaign promise when they were always going to find something to criticize him about anyway.

Republicans finding fault with a Democratic administration... boy, there's a newsflash.

You could always look at issue by issue and see if there was a reasonable purpose to criticize Obama and this administration.

Really? So since Democrats are always going to criticize Republicans and Republicans are always going to criticize Democats, then the opposition never have grounds to criticize?

That's just plain stupid.

There is plenty to criticize... but if it wasn't the lack of transparency it would be that there's too much transparency, and you know it.

You and your ilk will always find something to criticize Obama on, just like the left did during GWB's 8 years.

Sure there is grounds for criticism, but in this case if Obama was transparent about the drones he'd be criticized by Republicans for aiding terrorists because they'd say he's being transparent.

You're going to play the "What if" game? Come on, you're better than that.

Valid criticism is valid criticism. If he was transparent, and the Republicans blasted him for it, then they'd be the ones looking bad. Unfortunately for Obama, that's not the case, the Republicans aren't in the White House, and Obama is the one who looks bad. Tough shit for him. Maybe he should stop being such a piece of shit.

You don't need to post why businesses are concerned with a Dem Senate (and previously House also) and Dem POTUS in charge, that's already a known...

Chuck

Zzz, keep tossing shit out Chuck, eventually it will stick. Maybe in 2016... Oddly enough people en mass aren't buying the GOP revisionist version of reality.

I wonder why people think he is getting a pass on this. I have seen countless stories on this issue including John Stewart even calling out the president on this issue.

I haven't seen a thread on this, but there is a campaign drive that Obama is doing where if 500k is donated by a person, they get special access to him and his office. Where did I see this story first and the outrage for it? MSNBC! (Not that I watch it with any regularity, I was at my fathers house and he lives on that station).

It seems people think Obama is getting a pass when all Democrats don't immediately become Republican and start up with the Burn Obama signs.
