Roaming profile problem

Well now that I finally have my PDC for my domain up and running I'm trying to get roaming profiles working as well. The problem is that once again (grumble) I'm having permissions issues. I have set the profile share to have full control by everybody (temporarily while I transfer profile data) but every time I go into the system menu then advanced then user setup to copy the profile I get the error that permission is denied when it tries to copy the data. This happens whether I am logged in as root or as a domain administrator account. I'm halfway tempted to just copy and paste the profile folder from XP to the PDC but I'm not sure how well that would work. I'm running Mandrake 10.1 with Samba 3.0.7 for the PDC and I am running Windows XP Pro SP1 clients.
