Let's say you had an iPhone on AT&T, a Palm Pre on Sprint, a Motorola Droid on Verizon, and a Nexus One on T-Mobile. Could you roam on your iPhone on T-Mobile or Nexus One on AT&T? Could you roam on your Palm Pre on Verizon or Motorola Droid on Sprint?

I've never had to pay for roaming data on either T-Mobile or AT&T. On T-Mobile I drove across Wyoming and was using Union Cellular and accessed data over them without a charge. In Bozeman, MT, instead of T-Mobile I was using some local company (Mountain Wireless?) and again had EDGE data without extra charges. Recently in Florida on AT&T I was roaming on some other cell company and had EDGE as well.

i paid a few bucks for roaming in canada last time i visited the U.P. sault ste marie is too close to the canuckistan towers apparently. i also got warnings about entering mexican towers in south san diego this past summer. my daughter forwarded the text she got on her phone and it cost me a couple bucks lol. i told her not to do that.
