roads in your area

How are road and highways in you area? In my area port huron,michigan, most of the roads are crappy. When they usally redo the roads, they just blacktop over thje junk road, 2-4 months later, there a pothole in the road. Then they fill the pothill with tar, few weeks later same pot hole is back. The construction companies around here sure do a shody job.

I think that's mostly everywhere that has lots of traffic.

missouri roads are normally very bad. but last year we passed a new law to force the state to spend ALL of the gas tax money on roads and not put it into the general budget
so now they are doing road work everywhere and fixing the roads

however, the county i live in is very rural, so there are many many gravel/dirt roads. the roads in my neighborhood are all gravel, about 1/2 mile to the highway
i don't like the gravel roads
also there are still some one lane bridges in our county. we need to spend a bit more county taxes on roads

I live a relatively rich city...the roads are gold plated and smooth as silk.

norther nj... giant stadium/willowbrook mall/garden state plaza area...

awful. it is like one HJUGE pot hole with some smooth bits put in an inch per square yard.
