Road Trip Fans

Any road trip fans out there? I just flew out to California and drove Hwy. 1, from San Francisco to LA, stopping in Big Sur to hike Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, Andrew Molera State Park and some other spots. Absolutely gorgeous - though scary at times on Hwy.1 due to the cliffs. Anyways, Lexus Magazine (who I do some work with) has some great road trip itineraries for areas all over the country. Has anyone ever road tripped Big Sur before? Any other itineraries in the article worth doing?
