Anyway, so I was supposed to meet Nutdotnet te exchange a HS/mobo/money. Met him at my work, did the trade, headed home. Was almost home & realized I had intended to go into town to get wet/dry sandpaper to do some lapping on my Taisol. So, I headed into town.
While I was still in the country, some idiot in a red Toyota pickup comes flying by me. I was going the speed limit. After he pulled in front of me I gave him the finger. Shouldn't have done it, but I did. Instantly he slammed on his brakes, reducing a nice patch on all four tires to a cloud of acrid smoke. I locked up my tires to keep from hitting him. I was ready to pull of the road if I needed to turn around quickly, my impression was that he was going to stop. But he kept going, & I kept my distance.
Made it into town, & went to an auto store. While I was looking for my sandpaper (they didn't have 1500), this hot blonde girl walks in. She looked very out of place, without a purpose... like she was only there to waste time, or wait for somebody. Behind the counter was another girl, with hair almost as short as mine (I just had it shaved to 1/4" today). Next thing I know they're walking out together, & the blonde has her hands all over the other girl's ass!
On a more happy note, I picked up a Toshiba 16X DVD drive on the way home from work. It rocks. Top Gun is running in the background.
What an afternoon. Now I need to find a way to entertain myself for the evening.
