Had some dentistry work done today. Am I still high because I can't understand what I am watching
 
All I saw was a narcissist retelling the story of how he got shot and then pivoting to demanding the democrats to stop using the Justice system to go after him. I could only take so much before I had to turn it off.

Your title initialization contains a typo. National Republican Infection should be NRI not NRC. The Trump Cult is diseased.

The convention should be to refer to it as such.

I've never been able to stand watching/hearing that Big Orange Slimeball speak for more than a couple of minutes,, but my politically minded friend Tom convinced me to start watching. I had to turn it off. That oleaginous conglomeration of smegma is, with apologies to Keith Olberman, THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!

Yea I read that piece. Nobody was swayed. The one thru line in all of this stuff is deep dissatisfaction with the choice presented, all the more reason to pull the swap on the D ticket as expeditiously as possible.

I think the question is more along the lines of "how high do you have to be before Trump starts making sense".

... a la "during a serious drinking session, I think we figured out the answer to a really complicated problem".

I have my doubts about these people who call themselves undecided. Watched CNN's town hall of "undecided" voters. Was clear they some weren't undecided when they gave his speech an A. Huh? How dishonest do you have to be to objectively say that speech was an A? But then a few said his speech made them decide to cote for Trump. Lol. Yeah... ok. Clearly you were undecided.

Yeah I am not worried about needing an actual competent candidate to change anyone's mind who wants to vote for Trump.

It's about getting people out to vote who don't want to vote for Trump, and who many simply feel Biden is an insulting choice. I mean he is, he's not mentally competent and shows it - so yeah that is kind of insulting to say this is our best - but compared to Trump he is great. But this is not the world we live in.
 
Maybe just really really stupid or in cognitive decline. He complained that illegal immigrants are taking 107% of the jobs created.

What he’s saying is clear. Even though jobs are being created at X rate, employers are firing honest Americans to hire illegal immigrants at an even faster rate. So the employment rate for “real Americans” is going down despite the job creation. It’s almost certainly complete bullshit. Given Trump’s propensity for telling bombastic lies, it’s often difficult to discern whether he’s confused or if he’s just telling another lie. Or both. 15m jobs have been added under Biden, if say ... about 2.5m immigrants have entered the US. So, not even close. Complete bullshit. Unless of course the immigrants can steal several jobs at a time!

Right Wing Populism. It works by making promises that they can't and won't keep and blaming bad things on a minority or the existing government. Convincing people to fight a race war and a culture war is a great way to get them to give up on fighting a class war.
