RNC condemning NSA spying (complete turnaround). Political tactic??

What argument? He supports , just about every lefty supports, what the NSA is doing under this administration. All he added was the idea that Hannity supported it when Bush was doing it. Is there ever going to be a time when you clowns don't use "but, but, but BUSH!" as an excuse for Obama's fuckups and excesses ?

Nice bit of utterly false attribution. While so-called "Leftists" support Obama in general, that does not apply to this issue at all. We didn't support it back than, and we don't now.

OTOH, it's remarkable how people in full support of it during the Bush years now view it as horrendous, utterly discounting the truth that Obama's NSA acts the same way as Bush's. Structurally & bureaucratically, the NSA is perhaps the most autonomous department of the federal govt, operating under a different set of rules and has been for decades. Obama hasn't changed that.

Now that the RNC has come over, perhaps we shouldn't view this as another Hate-Um Obama opportunity but rather an opportunity for Congress to better define what they want the NSA to do.

I'm all for it.
