I bought a refurb asus V9280 Ti4200 128MB from newegg couple month ago, has some problem, send back to ASUS, i got replacement back today, it is a retail version V9570TD FX5700 128MBcard, i guess it is better than ti4200, can any of your expert tell me appox how much if any this card better than 4200. sorry i dont know much about video card, if anyone think this question is too silly
 
From the looks of it, you got a good deal.

the FX5700 is a little faster than the 4200 in most directx 8.1 games.

In Doom3, it's almost twice as fast as the Ti4200 card.

Yes, 3d mark03 goes from 1546 to 3029, thanks asus. BTW new egg refurb svcks, i am 0 for 2, one bad TV turned card, one bad video card
