RMA problem

I got a nice matched pair of ram (2x512MB). The other one gives a whole bunch of errors on memtest, but the other is clean. Do I need to RMA them both?

Yes, definitely.. and don't let them mickey-mouse you.. You are entitled to a matched pair.. that's what you paid for. If it's Corsair, you shouldnt have any problems.

It's Kingston and I have the RMA arranged already. I asked that just to make sure, since I won't be able to use my computer during the RMA process. With the one stick, I would have been. And they won't send me back a matched pair if I only send them one stick, won't they?

make sure you test the new ones and don't assume they sent you good ones

That's right.. Send one stick, get one stick in return.
