Hi, i'm running on ME and use a program called changetype which allows me to change the file type.

Whenever i want to open a .rm file (like clicking on the file in Explorer), the changetype program appears and forces me to change to another filetype. THe file works when i change it to .ram

The funny thing is that i can open the .rm in RealPlayer directly.

I've tried looking at the filetype menu in Explorer, but the .rm filetype is already associated with RealP.

Please help

 
did you try reinstalling realplayer? how about un installing the changetype app and uninstall realplayer, reinstall the changetype app first and relay player last...maybe tha will set your file extensions correctly.
