As a software developer I mourn the fact that I could have written Instagram myself. That should have been me!

Hell, good for them if someone was stupid enough to give them that much cash. Not to belittle the work that went into Instagram, but aside from a catchy name and perhaps some savvy marketing, not much really went into it.

Most of it I can't take issue with. It's just kids having fun. I'm pretty sure lots of people take pictures showing off their new cars and toys. It's just these kids have parents that can afford $100K cars instead of $10k.

Now the ones showing off how much they spend on a restaurant tab? Those are the douchebags. That's just a "Hah look at how much money I can throw away" thing.

Your post makes no fucking sense at all. In what universe should gigantic returns on gigantic passive investments be taxed at a lower rate than hard work.

That sounds like a judgement call. What's worth more, the capital to make work happen, or the labor to employ capital? Not my decision to make.

Eh, it's the stupidest little things that get popular. Of all the fling and destroy games that were out at the time, why did Angry Birds get so popular and the ones that came before it were tossed aside? Best bet it seems is to just keep developing and hope you hit that right place at the right time. I thought Twitter was going to fail, especially after the already popular facebook started "status updates" that pretty much are the same thing. Who knows what the world will latch on to next?

You are taking this deeply out of context.

I guess Joseph of Arimathea was trash to you, simply because he was wealthy.
Yet he is sainted by the Roman Catholic Church, The Anglicans and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
So unless you are a member of a fringe cult, shut the hell up.

You guess wrong.

The quote stands for itself, and it was made by Jesus himself, the Son of God.

I added nothing else to it and you inferred that I "hated" someone / anyone.

Why? o_O

They got loads of money, or should I say their parents do. And it is being spent so others are getting it, sort of. Whatever.

Jealous much?

I think it is a waste but hey not mine to judge.
