RJ45 to serial?

I'm looking for an adapter that will let me use the 'console' port on an old hub i have. i called radio shack and compusa and they said this type of thing is unheard of.

anyone have suggestions?

a console port on the hub? a 9 pin serial port? never seen one on a hub though.. could it be 15 pin AUI port?

it is an rj45 port and it says 'console'

i was told to use it i needed to either have the software (which i do not) or use hyperterminal with and adapter to COM1
