My room temp is 21.1C, should RT be reporting my ambient tem @ 35C on my video card? My CPU temp is idle @ 28C. Should an 8800GT be that warm, with the cooler listed in my sig? It idles @ 42C and loaded @ 54C, but the ambient temp is so much higher than room temp, and in that Antec 900, its like a tornado in there, nothing but fresh air everywhere.

That should be the temperature of your card's pcb i believe. That or the vram's temps. It is pretty low, nothing to worry about.

So, its really not an ambient temperature reading?

Well it is, in a way. The sensor is on the surface of the card.
So the ambiance is a little hotter right next to the GPU. 🙂

That's what I think anyhow.

That is PCB temperature and it's not high at all.
