Ritek DVD-R media with Pioneer DVR-107?

Will the Ritek DVD-R media (linked below) work with my Pioneer DVD-107 ... and if so, will it work at 8x or just 4x?

according to ritek it'll write up to the writer spec which is 8x

Two excellent references - thank you both. (I was looking through Pioneer's site earlier today, but couldn't track down this page.)

From the DVDRHelp reports, it looks like Datawrite/Datasafe would be a far better alternative. I'm glad I held off of the purchase. Edit: and of course, now I see that the above brands seem to only be available in the UK. Argh! I'm woefully close to tossing my burner into the backyard and going back to 5.25" floppies ...

There's something fishy about the reports at DVDRHelp. Although the RiData disks have poor reviews, the same disks under different brand names all have good reviews! Datasafe media & AVB both are listed as RITEKG05's?
