edit - these burn at 1x on all burners and will burn at 2x with the hacked firmware on pioneer/cendyne burners

edit - price down to $85 as of 10-23-03

A good brand from a good company, my brother has been buying from them for years (CD, DVD-RAM, DVD-R). I don't do enough burning to buy in bulk so I haven't tried rima myself.

rima gets two thumbs up from me. Might not always be the cheapest, but they have been nothing but great when dealing with them.

I'd only touch Ritek04 not G03, might be able to write at 4x with the hacked firmware....

Hey, these 6/8x drives that are coming out now - from what I see they write at 6-8x on 4x media, is that right? I've not seen any 8x DVD+R's anywhere.....

Found in the Afterdawn forums that someone linked a updated Optorite dd0203 compatability list supposedly from optorite tawain. On the list the Ritek G03's are rated to work at 2x. I'm going to order a sample pack for my dd0203 drive.

I have some Ritek G03's (not these particular ones, mine have a yellow & black textured label) that burned successfully @ 2x on my DD0203 & worked in my PS2.

Supermediastore.com has the 100 pack of Ritek G03 w/matted silver surface for $84.60 after 'ritek10off' coupon at checkout. It worked out to $91.60 shipped which is a pretty good deal @ $0.92 per blank on reliable media 🙂
