If that happens we need to hunt down the price gouging motherfvckers at the big 5 oil producers in the US and kick in their greedy skulls.

If you don't like capitalism, get your commie ass over to North Korea.
Ahhh how cute.
LOL I just found it funny that he was saying this to you out of all people.

You guys are so ignorant..... price goes up when supply drops....

That is out of the control of some of these companies.... hurricane shuts down X Million BPD.....

at that point we have a shortage, so price goes up

Demand shot went up right after the hurricane, due to a frenzy from the media telling people that supply was going to drop.

High demand due to future expectations = the main reason why gas prices shot up.

refineries markup in %. they're making the same % they always were.

right now most profits are made on drilling. a well that was open 3 years ago at $30 a barrel was profitable then, imagine how profitable it is now at double that.

but that would mean the price would have to more than double what it is now for me...during Katrina, I never saw more than $3.00 in my town...now its back down to $2.30. I highly doubt this...ahh...good contribution to round two.

It's over $3/gal in NH (or was last I asked someone)..I'm supposed to move there next week - I hope gas isn't much more expensive..three cars over 1400 miles.. 🙁

Someone really needs to give the big oil companies an ass kicking.

the communists need to. the communists need to revolt and nationalize the oil companies so that we can pay $0.55 per gallon for gas

go find some communists to help you and get started TODAY!
