Discussion Rise of the OLEDs

Meh im still waiting for Micro LED's. Maybe AI will make them magically cheaper.

yes because i will NEVER get a OLED PC monitor due to its obnoxious auto dimming.

There's a uniform brightness setting now that solves the issue, at the expense of lower brightness of 320 nits. OK for normal all day use I guess. Should look a lot superior to an IPS panel.

I have the curved 32 inch Alienware. It's pretty great. I'm glad to see OLED finally getting mainstream and cheaper. Even OLEDs with pretty meh HDR are still way better than the most LCDs. Only the highest high end miniled LCD's can compete.

I have a pair of those 32" Alienware monitors and use a LG 48" C1 as a monitor as well (approx. 20K hours, no burn in!) also have an Apple Studio monitor that looks like a piece of furniture but that isn't OLED, still super nice though.
