Got Rise of Nations:Rise of Legends and am trying to use the auto updater to update the game. It downloads everthing then says "invalid retail patch" and resets the bar to 0% but doesn't start over. In the patch folder I can see all the files in there that it downloaded. Has anyone else had this problem? I wouldn't care if I could apply most of the other fixes, but the game only has an auto patch that downloads from big huge games, you cannot go out and find older patches.
I did buy the game used from someone who bought it from best buy and it has all the content, keys, and manuals. I don't think it has anything to do with this but you never know with a microsoft product.
Is it the game or the fact that it is used? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. The game still plays, but there are some issues with the AI that I would like to get fixed with the patch.
