Ripplehost question

I signed up about 8 hours ago.. How long does it take for the dns entry to point to your site? The dns numbers that they gave me point to something about an Apache Server being installed and does not point to the temp index file that I created.. The "preview" URL that they gave me works like a charm.. How long will it take for the service to be working 100% (I also registered with cheapname.com at the same time - I expect that to take 2 days).. Thanks!

dns can take up to 72 hours to resolve IIRC
