Ripping CD question!

I've tried using two different versions of CDex and they both don't work on this computer. It rips the track(s) but when I play the song, no sound comes out. I've tried playing it with multiple players but there's still no sound.

Anyone else have this problem or anyone else know a better, free and small ripping program??

The free PlayCentre you get with Creative sound cards does a brilliant job at ripping CDs. Maybe you can blag an installation disk from a friend 😉

Hmm, there's free ripping programs out there other than cdex. I don't want to do like 30 steps. I just want one that works well.

OK, clock this. I got a free ripper called CD Ripper X from here and it seems to work fine. Be warned you will need an ASPI manager installed on your box, which you can get here. Hope it works for you.
