Couple of my friends say piss on it, Road trip to this fools house...but that might not accomplish anything if he has spent the money.......

I just tracked the envelope.....
Says...
We attempted to deliver your item in CANADA at 9:07 am on January 13, 2003.
Does this mean that since I had insurance, and sent it registered mail, that since the guy had to sign for it he refused the package?
How many more times will they attempt to deliver it?

FWIW, that address is smack in the middle of downtown Toronto. Wonder if it's just a mail drop or something.

Dude, if he didn't accept the money order yet, I think you can go to where ever you got it from and say it was stollen/fraud/lost whatever, and then they cancel it and give you a refund. Check it out quick, before he gets the letter and cashes the money order.

After countless emails, and private messages, which he wont respond to, I setup a fake email account and messaged him about another part he had for sale. He messaged me right back stating that he had the engine. I then responded, well why did you sell the same engine to me and another guy? I havent gotton a reply yet.

Stop the money order if you can, and call the police.

Personally I do not to do large deals over the net. I stick to sub $100 CAD deals for international private transactions generally, with some exceptions. I have been burned in the past, but have never lost more than US$40 because of my restrictions on the deals.

ok, the item was successfully delivered in Canada, USPS's tracking service can lick my sack....Yesturday it said that the item was attempted to be delivered at 9:40am......now it says on Jan 13th @ 6:40am it was delivered successfully.....WTF? Anyway, I've put a stop on the money order and am wondering if I should contact his police or my local police....He also had to sign for my package, meaning I have a sig to use if I decide to take legal matters.
